2012年9月9日、NHK総合の特別番組『明日へ – 支えあおう – 「被災地はいま・東日本大震災から1年半  第2部」』内で、復興市場のことが紹介されました。

明日へ – 支えあおう – 「被災地はいま・東日本大震災から1年半  第2部」
被災地の声や復興への取り組み、サポートする人々の姿を紹介している「明日へ」。今回は時間を拡大して、東日本大震災から1年半たった被災地の「今」を生放送で伝えます。

宮城県本吉郡南三陸町、志津川荒砥地区の皆さんにもち米60kgをお届けしました。
おなじ志津川の高光商店で2012年7月25日に受け渡されました。

同地区の高橋さんが餅作りとお祭りの写真とメッセージを送ってくれました。

「荒砥海友会」は、南三陸町志津川荒砥地区に生まれたこれからの荒砥を背負って立つ浜の担い手です。若い力で復活ののろしをあげられないか。皆でまた荒砥のために、故郷のために、また自分のために、なにか出来ることはないか検討してきました。
震災以降、荒砥地区には全国各地からたくさんの支援の手が差し伸べられ、私たちは人と人との繋がりや暖かい心に触れました。未だ瓦礫と不安の残る荒砥で一生懸命に生きよう。私たちは現実を受け入れ前を向いていました。またもとの笑顔あふれる荒砥に戻したい。活気ある荒砥に。
私たち荒砥海友会は浜の担い手として、荒砥の皆さんと復興という名の大きな大きな魚をとりに　全速前進あるのみと考えます。この想いを形にし、復興と大漁、家内安全、航海安全、荒砥再生を祈願するべく「あらと福興神楽」を実施いたしました。
このたびはたくさんの餅米を支援いただきましてありがとうございました。
荒砥老人クラブと荒砥仮設住宅の住民約30名で2300個の餅を作り、福興神楽の際にご来場いただいた皆様に配ることができました。
大変ありがたく感謝申し上げます。
