000037 花の鉢植え（輪島市河原田公民館での夏祭りへお届け）

石川県輪島市の河原田公民館での夏祭りへ、花の鉢植え60個をお届けします。

We will deliver 60 potted flowers to Kawahara Public Hall in Wajima City, Ishikawa Prefecture.

河原田地区公民館は、2024年1月1日の地震以降近隣複数集落からの避難者が暮らす避難所として運営されてきましたが、近くに仮設住宅が出来てきたこと、避難所が集約されてきていることから、7月25日に避難所としては閉鎖されます。避難していた皆さん全員の「卒業」を祝って、7月20日に夏祭りを開催します。この支援品はその夏祭りへ参加する方へのおみやげです。

150 bottles of drinks to the summer festival at Kawarada Public Hall on July 20th. The festival is being held to celebrate for all of the residents who have been living in the shelter since the January 1st, 2024 earthquake.
The shelter is closing on July 25th due to the construction of new temporary housing in the area and the consolidation of shelters. The summer festival is a way for the community to come together and celebrate the resilience of the residents who have been through so much.
The donated potted flowers will be a beautiful addition to the festival and a welcome souvenir for the attendees. The organizers of the festival are grateful for the generosity of the local businesses that are making this event possible.

写真のお二人は、西脇町第1団地に隣接する河原田公民館の古谷裕さんと坂本亜衣子さんです。自身も被災しながら、職員として、また個人として、避難所運営やイベント運営などに尽力しています。

In the photo above are Mr.Yutaka Furutani and Ms.Aiko Sakamoto of Kawarada Community Center, which is adjacent to Nishiwaki-daiichi-danchi. While also affected by the disaster, they have been working hard as staff and as individuals in various activities, such as operating evacuation shelters and organizing events at temporary housing.

鉢植えは輪島市の花店「花よし」で購入します。

The potted plants will be purchased from a flower shop "Hana Yoshi" in Wajima City.

輪島市は2024年1月1日に起きた地震で多くの家屋などが被害に遭い、非常に多くの人が被害を被っている地域です。

Wajima City is an area where many people were affected by the earthquake that occurred on January 1st 2024, with many houses and other buildings destroyed.
