As part of our ongoing support efforts for residents displaced by the recent disaster, we delivered 120 potted plants to temporary housing complexes in Nanao City, Ishikawa Prefecture on July 28, 2024.
The plants were distributed to 66 households in Kakigyocho, 45 in Funoocho District 1, and 9 in Tsurunoko Park.

The delivery was made possible by Saida Hanaten, a local florist in Nanao City.
Mr. Nobuyuki Ichihara of the NPO United Kanagawa, who has been working tirelessly to assist disaster victims in the area, sent us heartwarming photos captured during the delivery.

Lics Shitsumiya in Anamizu-machi delivered the supplies on September 19, 2024.

"Yama-n" is a "free sales place" operated by Mr.Makoto Akiyama of Kanazawa city, Ishikawa pref.
Mr.Akiyama is a snowboarder, and supplies supported by his friends and supporters are mainly distributed to disaster victims in Suzu city.

石川県鳳珠郡穴水町の仮設住宅「由比ケ丘団地」に併設している交流スペース「ボラまち亭」へ、水のペットボトル50ケースをお届けしました。

穴水町の「リックス七海屋」が2024年9月14日に配達しました。

由比ケ丘団地は穴水町で最大の仮設住宅（180戸）で、町営陸上競技場に建設されました。空き部屋となっていた陸上競技場の事務棟に愛知県名古屋市のNPO「レスキューストックヤード」が入居し、ボランティアと住民の交流スペースでフードパントリーでもある「ボラまち亭」が開設されています。
ボラまち亭には飲料や食品のほか、小さな子どものおむつや簡単なおもちゃ、高齢者用の肌着などが陳列され、無料で持ち帰ることができるようになっています。

We delivered 50 cases of bottled water to the community space "Boramachi-tei," which is attached to the temporary housing complex "Yuigaoka-danchi" in Anamizu town, Hosu district, Ishikawa prefecture. This delivery was made by Lics Shitsumiya, located in Anamizu town, on September 14, 2024.

Yuigaoka-danchi is the largest temporary housing complex in Anamizu town(180 units) and was built on the town's public athletic field. The NPO "Rescue Stockyard" from Nagoya city, Aichi pref, has moved into the vacant administrative building of the athletic field and opened "Boramachi-tei," a community space for volunteers and residents that also serves as a food pantry.

In addition to beverages and food, Boramachi-tei has items such as diapers for young children, simple toys, and underwear for the elderly, which can be taken home free of charge.

石川県輪島市の三井町第1団地（68戸）・第2団地（20戸）へ花の鉢植え88個をお届けしました。

輪島市の「花よし」が2024年9月14日に配達しました。
受け取っていただいた橋爪美土里さんから写真が送られてきました。

輪島市街地から自動車で30分ほど走った内陸部に三井町があり、山間部には倒壊した家屋が多くあります。
避難所となった三井町公民館などで寝泊まりをしていた人たちも、2024年4月～6月に完成した三井町第1・第2団地へ入居しました。

両団地は2001年に廃止されたのと鉄道七尾線の旧能登三井駅跡地の近くにあり、旧能登三井駅舎は現在、「駅カフェ」という喫茶店になっています。
花の鉢植えの受け取りをしていただいた橋爪さんはこの駅カフェの店主で、新しい仮設住宅の住人や近隣の皆さんの憩いの場をつくっています。

We delivered 88 potted plants to the Mii-cho Dai-ichi Danchi (68 units) and Dai-ni Danchi (20 units) in Wajima City, Ishikawa Prefecture. The delivery was carried out by "Hana Yoshi" of Wajima City on September 14, 2024.

We received a photo from Ms. Midori Hashizume, who accepted the delivery. Mii-cho is located in an inland area about a 30 minute drive from downtown Wajima, and many houses in the mountainous area were destroyed. People who had been staying at the Mii-cho community center, which had been used as an evacuation shelter, moved into the newly completed Mii-cho Dai-ichi and Dai-ni Danchi from April to June 2024.

Both housing complexes are located near the former Noto-Mii station site of the Nanao Line, which was abolished in 2001. The former Noto-Mii station building is now a cafe called "Eki Cafe." Ms. Hashizume, who accepted the potted plants, is the owner of this station cafe and is creating a place for the new temporary housing residents and nearby residents to relax.

石川県輪島市西脇町にある河原田公民館で開催された夏祭りへ、飲み物と、プレゼント用の花の鉢植え60個をお届けしました。

のどかな山間部に位置する河原田地区では、多くの家屋が全半壊しました。
2024年1月以降、河原田公民館は避難所となり、地域内外から多くの避難者が身を寄せていましたが、2024年7月25日、河原田公民館に隣接した仮設住宅・西脇町第1団地の第2期入居（39戸）の開始にともない、避難所が解散します。
7月20日に行われた夏祭りには、仮設住宅の入居者だけでなく近隣から多くの人がやってきて、にぎやかな催しとなりました。

飲み物は輪島市のドラッグストア「コスモス輪島店」、花の鉢植えは輪島市のフラワーショップ「花よし」が、当日2024年7月20日に配達しました。
花よしの竹林則子さんと河原田公民館の坂本亜衣子さんから、お届けの様子とお祭りの写真が送られてきています。

輪島市は2024年1月1日に起きた能登半島地震で多くの家屋などが被害に遭い、非常に多くの人が被害を被っている地域です。

We delivered drinks and 60 potted plants as gifts to the summer festival held at Kawarada Community Center in Nishiwaki-cho, Wajima, Ishikawa pref.

Kawarada district, located in a peaceful mountainous area, suffered significant damage from the disaster, with many houses completely or partially destroyed. Since January 1, 2024, Kawarada Community Center has served as an evacuation center, providing shelter to many evacuees from both inside and outside the region. However, on July 25, 2024, the evacuation center was closed due to the start of the second phase of occupancy (39 households) at the Nishiwaki-cho Daiichi Danchi Temporary housing complex adjacent to Kawarada Community Center.

The summer festival held on July 20 was a lively event, attracting not only residents of the temporary housing complex but also many people from neighboring areas.

The drinks were delivered by Cosmos Wajima, a drugstore in Wajima city, and the potted plants were delivered by Hanayoshi, a flower shop in Wajima city, both on the day of the event, July 20, 2024.
Ms.Noriko Takebayashi of Hanayoshi and Ms.Aiko Sakamoto of Kawarada Community Center sent us photos of the delivery and the festival.

Wajima City is an area where many people were affected by the earthquake that occurred on January 1st 2024, with many houses and other buildings destroyed.

石川県七尾市の矢田郷地区コミュニティセンター避難所へ、お弁当30人分を届けました。

「主婦の店」のスタッフが、2024年6月28日、避難所のスタッフへ直接渡してくれました。
主婦の店は地元でよく知られた惣菜屋さんで、リーズナブルでおいしいお弁当を作っています。スタッフの皆さんもそれぞれ被災しており、忙しいなかで対応してくれました。
今回、お届け写真がありません（当日のお弁当の写真のみです）。申し訳ありません。

矢田郷地区コミュニティセンター避難所の避難者は一時37人まで減りましたが、近隣の避難所の閉所に伴い、2024年6月15日あらたに17人が合流し、2024年6月23日時点で54人が滞在しています。

35 boxed lunches were delivered to the Yatago Community Center evacuation shelter in Nanao City, Japan on June 28, 2024.

The lunches were purchased by supporters of the evacuees and delivered by staff from "Shufu no Mise," a local food shop known for its affordable and delicious meals.
The staff at Shufu no Mise were also affected by the disaster, but they still took the time to personally deliver the lunches to the evacuees.

The number of evacuees at the Yadago Community Center shelter temporarily decreased to 37, but 17 new evacuees joined from a nearby shelter that closed on June 15, 2024. As of June 23, 2024, a total of 54 people are taking refuge at the shelter.
