輪島市町野町の仮設住宅へサンタの長靴（お菓子の詰め合わせ）をお届けしました

石川県輪島市町野町の仮設住宅・町野第1団地へ、サンタの長靴（お菓子の詰め合わせ）83個をお届けしました。

商品は鳳珠郡穴水町の七海屋で購入し、エイドショップのスタッフが2024年12月22日にお届けしました。

町野第1団地は、町野町の輪島市立町野小学校の校庭に建てられた仮設住宅で、75世帯が入居しています。中学生以下の子どもが8人いるとのことでした。
町野町は、能登半島地震における人口に対する死傷者の割合が最も高い地域だそうです。また、2024年9月の豪雨でも甚大が被害があり、長い期間孤立していた地域でもあります。

なおこの支援は、輪島市の三井町第1団地などの仮設住宅宛てで掲載したものですが、運営の都合により、宛先を町野第1団地へ変更したものです。ご支援いただいた皆さまには大変申し訳ありませんが、なにとぞご理解をお願いします。

輪島市の中心地から、里町や町野町をむすぶ道路は地震と水害で大きな被害を受けており、早期の復旧が難しかったことから、2023年までは海だった（地震で隆起して陸地になった）ところに新しい道を通しています。天候が悪い満潮時や、波が高いときは非常に危険です。

We delivered 83 Santa boots (filled with sweets) to the Machino Daiichi Temporary Housing Complex in Machino-machi, Wajima city, Ishikawa prefecture.

The items were purchased from Shitsumiya in Anamizu-machi, Hosu district, and were delivered by staff from AidShop on December 22, 2024.

Machino Daiichi Temporary Housing Complex is located on the grounds of Machino Elementary School in Machino-machi, housing 75 households. We were informed that there are eight children aged 12 or younger living there.
Machino-machi reportedly had the highest ratio of casualties to population in the Noto Peninsula earthquake.
It also suffered severe damage from the heavy rains in September 2024 and was isolated for an extended period.

Please note that while this support was originally intended for temporary housing complexes such as Mii-cho Daiichi in Wajima City, we had to change the delivery destination to Machino Daiichi due to operational reasons.
